Hi,

I am new to JSF and having been reviewing component technologies. I have been looking at RichFaces by RedHat and Apache MyFaces. Are there any other component technologies I should consider? Which component technology is considered better? Which is more widely used?

Thanks,

Hi,

MyFaces is an alternate implementation for the JSF specification(like sun'S RI(Reference Implementation))..Richfaces adds skinnability and Ajax support for a JSF component.....you would normally use both of them.

Your question should had the topic IceFaces vs. RichFaces...

Ok -
I've been learning some things. Maybe my question should have been JBoss RichFaces vs. MyFaces Trinidad? My understanding of the Apache MyFaces project is that it includes a component library called Trinidad.

Thanks,
