Hello.

I am beginning to explore both Hibernate Search and JBoss Seam. There's an integration in Seam for Hiberanate Search but I want to know if there are plans to make further integrations. Also I would like to know if this integration is covered in the book.

Thanks.

Leandro,

The integration of Hibernate Search with SEAM is not covered in the book.

Can you elaborate on 'further integrations' we are not quite sure what you mean?

Actually the integration is covered in the book
The integration is minimal.

@In FullTextEntotyManager ftem

public doAction() {
//use the ftem for full-text search
}

The rest of the easyness if provided out of the box in Hibernate Search + Hibernate.

That being said, Sanne has been thinking of enhancing the Seam entity framework to build full-text queries more easily (just like you can do easier HQL queries).
So stay tuned.
