Hi All,

I have never done any work on performance improvisations of java apps earlier.
I have a core java application (uses Hibernate as ORM frmwork) which works fine when run in a single mode (good response time).
No we are running this application in a batch mode i.e. running this whole application in a for loop and now I am running into Out of memory error.

What are things I need to watch.

Do post your thoughts

Thanks,

Uday

1. What is the heap size you are running your application? You can check the -Xm options for using more heap in case its required.

2. Check if there are objects released in you program, if you are going outof memory in a high heap size then there is a possibility that you may be leaking memory.
