Hi everbody,
These days I decided to prepare for the
SCJA. So I compiled a set of
Java and UML resources to study from (actually I could't afford to buy the recommended material so I decided to pick my own material). What I want to tell you is I had an idea of writing down every note that I take during my study instead if just reading. As I am a very slow hand writer I decided to write my notes on a blog so as to save time and organize my notes better.
My SCJA blog is structured like a book. Every exam section is a single chapter in that book. And every requirement in a particular exam section is a single section in that requirement chapter in the book.
Then I had a wonderful idea. I thought that instead of writing that book from my own notes only I can share my notes with all the world and people can also share me with their notes. And the result will be something like an open source book that all people shared in authoring it.
So if you visited the blog you will find the archive on the right side organized from the oldest in the top. You will find something like that:
Chapter 1: Fundamental Object-Oriented Concepts
Chapter 1: Section 1.1 (This section corresponds to the first requirement of the first part part of the exam which is: Describe, compare, and contrast primitives (integer, floating point, boolean, and character), enumeration types, and objects.)
Chapter 1: Section 1.2
Chapter 1: Section 1.3
.
.
.
Chapter 2: UML Representation of Object-Oriented Concepts
Chapter 2: Section 2.1
.
.
. etc
So you can navigate the blog just like reading a book.
If you read a particular section and found that you have some additional information that I didn't provide, you can post this information as a comment in that section. And this way we can all share knowledge and introduce the most complete SCJA preparation guide to the world.
If you read my notes I am sure you will find something new and I am also sure that you will have some knowledge to share. Of course you may find that my writing style is not that good but I am sure you will understand whatever notes I write on the blog.
I hope you find this idea interesting and share me in writing that book. And I intend to make the same thing for my future preparations
SCJP,
SCJD, ....
