Hi I am encountering the said message when I am trying to start BEA Weblogic 8.1 server.I am a naive user of weblogic.Please help

First of all, we have a BEA/Weblogic forum for which this question would be more appropriate. I'm moving it there for you.

Secondly, no one is going to be able to help you unless you give more details of the problem. The complete error message along with the first few lines of the stack trace would be a good place to start.

weblogic.Server is the main class of Weblogic server. This present in weblogic.jar. It looks like weblogic.jar is not in classpath.

Try to open weblogic.jar in winzip and see if it open properly without any error. If it gives any error, then you should replace this jar file with a new one. Then it works fine.
