Hi Ram,
1. My plan is to apply VISA by March and want to come to UK during july.
2. Mean time what technologies i need to be prepared? I am currently having 3.5 years experience in Java/J2EE.
3. Also i came to know that at the beginning of the year there will be lot of openings. If i come during july will i be able to get job?

Please suggest.

I don't think so. Lot of lay off has already happened.
In Mar/ Apr, you will be in better state to know market trend again.
So apply visa and be prepared.
UK/US already declared recession so fingers cross.

I too am planning for UK. Can anybody comment on which are the TOP Companies (for J2EE) in UK worth applying. Also is it worth moving UK next year considering the current job mkt sluggishness.

Do your research by searching through online UK Job sites to see what technologies/frameworks, soft-skills, attributes, etc the prospective employers are looking for.
