Choosing my first job @ [COMPANY]

I had been a java fan for a long time during my Engg. My final year project in Mobile blogging application was the best they saw. Now Colleges are over and I am looking for a career break. Unfortunately, I am not getting the Java break since past 5 months.

Options that is coming to me is an Administration job at [COMPANY]. As per the website they seem to be primarily into SAP. Its a startup (5 years old).


1) Being a startup I need to establish the credibility of the company. Do you have any inputs about the working of the company.

2) Choosing an Administration job will alienate me from the Java opportunities. (1 year due to BOND I need to sign).

3) I was feeling that the job market is so down It will take at least some time before the job market is plum again. Why not start with what comes in my plate instead of waiting for what i want to do. Maybe I fall in love with SAP itself.

Let me know what you feel and please share If anyone has any good/bad experiences to share about [COMPANY].

Something is better than nothing. While you are working on SAP, you can continue to pursue Java based opportunities.

SAP is very good technology to work on, SAP jobs are paid much more than java jobs, you can learn java in no time there are so many resources availbale on iternet. Infact you are lucky getting an easy opportunity to SAP
