I am your stereotypical geek, with a passion for learning. I have an interest in learning about politics, religion and the science behind them and the science. I believe they call it social science.
Many things that are religious come about as a form of social control or a way of social strength. Religions do not adopt practices that would make them weak but adopt ones that make them strong. So I often adopt them myself even if I don�t believe in that religion or political party.

I often read political and religious websites from websites, some of which might be considered a bit extreme and militant. I do this to learn about human nature. Not to agree with them and be mind washed by them.

I am a geek, a person of individual thought and opinion who seeks out the truth regardless of social manipulation and salesmen like tricks, which I am very aware of.
It is impossible for a open minded person such as myself to be manipulated by these websites and people. People who seeks the truth in a logical way cannot be corrupted this way.
I am more likely to be a victim of my own independent thought then to be a victim of someone else�s.

I also listen to HorrorCore Rap music, which sings about homicide, mutilation devils and such I love Gankstsa Nip and the Gravediggaz I love the music it is so evil and bad better then Emanan They often think that this will warp my mind. But how can it I don�t believe in any of what they say, it is just funny stuff without any meaning. I don�t think I would even like the artists themselves.

As "geeks" are more likely to have been trained in some kind of scientific methodology (and also likely in logic), they will probably be more likely to attempt to see the truth in something by investigating it, rather then just accept what they are told. This would imply that they are less likely to be manipulated, but its not impossible. Often manipulation techniques are based on emotions rather then arguments, and scientific people are just as susceptible to being affected by emotions as anyone else.
