I was so looking forward to announcing that I have finally passed the SCJP test on this forum after all the preparation. I am graduate with practically no experience and working in retail and hoping now I can get a better job as a programmer. I used Whizlabs and damn they have some tough questions but very good for preparing you for the exam. I think I had more time than allowed, not sure though. Javaranch rocks although I wasn't contributing much I checked it out every day. Now for some party time and a break then SCWD, already got the book.

Ooh! sorry guys it was SCJP 5. I wrote on the 8th and have noticed on Prometric that my result have not been updated and still showing pending and can't log onto the Sun website to verify my pass. How long do you have to wait to recieve the certificate?

Hey Russy, congratulations on passing the exam! I think it is mentioned somewhere that you have to wait around a month for the certificate to show up, but if you are outside the U.S. it might take longer.

All code in my posts, unless a source is explicitly mentioned, is my own.
