Indian sensex hit much awaited 10000 mark yesterday...Hope this is not just a bubble.

From what I've heard Indias real economy is on a very solid growth track.
I've read that private Foreign Direct Investment has gone up hugely in the last years. And not only in IT. And that directly translates into creation of job, inflow of knowledge and (of course) capital/higher productivity. And its a good indicator that the current situation is a fertile ground for investment, also for indian companies.

Of course, financial markets can bubble even in countries on a very solid growth track. For the population as a whole the expansion of the real economy is more important than the ups and downs of financial markets, though there are exceptions: Some individuals who invested too heavily in stocks will be hurt. So take care. I can't remember name, but there is a way to bind a special selling price threshold for stocks. If the price of the stock falls under that thresholds, the stocks are sold automatically. My father says that he would have lost far less in crashes, if he had used this tool.

People are predicting that real estate bubble in cities will burst soon.Investment in bigger towns has gone up.Currently investment telecom companies looks promising.With more and more telecom world giants,airline companies entering the country,competition will be intense.

Even I got same kind of information. Especially real estate in Bangalore and Hyderabad.
