Hi All,

I got the following exception, when i was trying to launch the application in eclipse ...

This error usually indicates a version mismatch between compile and runtime. Usually the solution is to recompile from scratch and launch.
Nothing to do with GUI.
Moving to the beginner forum.

PS. Please make your titles meaningful. Eclipse has got nothing to do with your current problem. Something like "Unsupported Class Version Error" or "Class version problem" would be more intuitive.
