Alternative to HFSJ

Hi all,

I've read through HFSJ about 3 times now and I feel that I need another reference to really grasp the concepts...
The david bridgewater SCWCD book is currently unavailable in my area so I was wondering what others you would recommend...?

I've had a look at the JSP cookbook but it really seems a little too difficult for me.
