Hi All,
I have a HyperLink which has a JavaScript which asks for a confirmation. After confirmation , the page is submitted. Sometimes since the process takes time , user is doing multiple clicks and because of which we get problem. Please give me some idea to prevent multiple clicks

Its just an idea. You can have a counter for that. You can check: if the user has clicked it once, then perform the process. Increment counter. If counter>=2 then do not perform the process. Reset the counter only if the page is reloaded.

just disable the button of the submit once clicked, and then re enable it once the process has completed.

The above one(Omar's) is a much much better one, as it can be done in just a line of code.

Shouldn't your server be smart enough to handle double submissions?

Check to make sure the user has not submitted the same values or use some transaction ids.
