Hello all,

I have read the Katty & Bates SCJP 6.0 book twice, and I prepare the exam with the Whizlabs kit.
I have scored a bad score at the diagnostic exam (50%), then I have review the parts where I was low.
Then I have done the practice exams n°1 (63%) n°2 (75%) n°3 (71%) and n°4 (72%).

Are those exams considered harder than the real exam or not ?
Do you think I'm ready for pass the exam ?

Thanks for your advices

I once used Whizlab for my SCJP prep. And yes I believe Whizlab's questions are tentatively harder than the real questions. So if you consistently got over say 75% or 80% to be safe on Whizlab, then you are ready.

Try putting off whizlab a few days and do the mocks again. If you get over x% then go for the real thing. Cos if you tend to do the same question base you may tend to remember the question's answer.

I took the final exam of Whizlabs kit this afternoon and I scored 78% (I think I did not taken enought time to the second review after answering the 72 questions).

I take the real exam tomorow, so we ll see if this kit is a good training stuff !

Good luck with it Guillaume! And don't forget to share how well you do. I would be interested, since I am also going to use Whizlabs, so I want to see how it correlates with the real test.

It's ok for me ! I scored only 75%, but it's enought

I was a little bit surprised looking the score in the different sections, cause I have had only 54% in the Fundamentals part, and I usually scored high in this section. All the other was in average of 80%.

I think whizlabs is a good preparation kit to pass SCJP. Maybe use other mock exams (like Devaka's one), to score higher.

Now it's time to enjoy

You need to buy it at their website. Google search whizlabs.
