What is getInteger method? I have seen this API. But I didn't understand. Please explain.............. When I used this method in the following code getting NullPointerException ..

I hope you know about system properties.. if not refer to K&B 794

This small program displays all the system properties...
Now one of the system property is "sun.arch.data.model" whose value is int....
Basically, the getInteger method takes a string and checks the string against all available properties and if a match is found it would return the properties value as INteger.
other wise its NULL
