Hi all,

Im new to Hibernate and have a few basic questions:

1) Is ant or maven required to build hibernate projects ?

2) Is it possible to build (ear) a hibernate project from eclipse or myeclipse ? (without the use of ant/maven)

thanks in advance,

1) No. But both are useful tools for building large projects whether or not Hibernate is involved.

2) Yes. JBoss IDE (an eclipse plugin) includes Hibernate tools if you need the generation tools and you don't want to use Ant.

You had your fun. Now it's time to go to jail. Thanks for your help tiny ad.
