I'm getting the SEVERE: Error filterStart error at startup. I have no compile errors so I'm not sure what's causing it. I've followed the instructions at http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/logging.html for setting up a log4j.properties file, but of course it takes forever to run and the log file is huge. Does anyone have any tried and true log settings I can put in this properties file for diagnosing this error? Thanks.

I simply replaced each instance of DEBUG with WARN and I got the exceptions I was looking for. Still, does anyone have a favorite log4j.properties they could share?
