As the title goes I badly miss those boom days... wish and hope the recession comes to an end quickly. I used to have 10 to 15 mails from consultants per day with the pay package range mentioned in many of those mails These days I hardly get to see 5 mails per week.

Are you feeling unappreciated?
I miss the ability to walk out on one job and walk into another with a substantial boost in pay and a hiring bonus. I think I've topped out as far as salary is concerned (my current position needed a specific skill set immediately, so I negotiated from a good position), plus with the recession salaries are backtracking some.

Too bad that it's fewer than before, and yet five jobs per week should be more than enough for one person.
