There's no need to speculate who might win - we'll all know who did win on July 9th

If history is any indication the team with the home advantage and the Germanic attitude stands a good chance.

And no, I don't like the game. I was rather disappointed when we made it past the series, meant having to survive another several months of football mania.

Gives you a great tool for "what-if" analysis....

My wild (and optimistic) speculation sees England meeting Germany in the final.

If I were a betting man however - I'd put money on USA - at 81:1 I think thats money better spent than risking on England at 8:1 or Brazil at a measly 3.5:1

With England struggling to keep their players in shape (a few injuries), I can't see them reaching the final. Brasil is, unfortunatly, a good pretender. Who will be the other team ? Will we see France's revival (it's close from being dead now) ?

Hi folks,

As a Brazilian guy, I personally think Brazil will run over all rivals.

However I think Argentina and even Germany have very good chances.

Argentina is a very technical team and have good abilities to overmatch unfavorable scores.

Concerning Germany's team, although nowadays they aren't an awesome soccer team and still are facing some internal problems, I mean, the contrarieties between Oliver Kahn and Germany's coach, they will be at home. Germany will have the advange of having the twelfth player. It really makes difference in a wordcup. Do you remember the France's wordcup when the France soccer team started discredited and won Brazil in the grand finale ?

I would stick with the top six following teams (In order of priority)

Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, England and Spain.

Dear Ala'a Hendi,

I don't think Italy can win because perhaps Brazil can play against Italy in the second phase.

Good luck guys.

Brazil wait for you...

Hum,
Don't forget Netherlands. It's always hard to play against them.
