I have completed SCJP last month and now planning to give SCWCD. I have no prior knowledge of JSP and Servlets.How long does it take to prepare for the exam? Are the questions theory based or are they on similar lines like SCJP?

Nice to know abhi that you are going for SCWCD. If you don't have any knowledge of Servlets and JSP, then I personally feel that you will have to work for about 3 months to pass the exam. As far as the questions goes, the questions are not purely theoretical. The questions earlier used to force you to memorize the API, but now the questions are more performance oriented. I don't have much idea about this myself but still this is what I know ...
