[Background]:
Navteq Global LBS Challengeis a world-wide developer competition which invites developers to build and submit original, pre-commercialised applications using dynamic positioning technology and Navteq maps. There are five categories: content, enterprise, entertainment & leisure, navigation and social networking.
I heard about Navteq's LBS challenge in February. Unfortunately, it was way too late to participate.
I am new to Android(actually I switched to mobile app developement recently). Also, I have not written any Location based application on Android but I know that Android uses google maps extensively. The map data in Google Maps comes from variety of sources and I think Navteq was one of them. Now that Navteq is owned by Nokia, I am not sure how things are.
My question : Can we use Navteq's map data(format: RDF,GDF, SIF+ etc.) in Android?
Thanks.
