Hi All,

I am relatively new to JSF, and we have this requirement in our project.

On an edit page, after changing few fields user clicks on sumbit, then it calls a Stored Procedure to update the new data in database. But if the same record is updated in the last 24 hours, stored procedure throws an exception. When the exception thrown I need to display a confirmation modalPanel to the user asking is he really want to update recently edited record and on click of OK record would be updated in database.

This looks simple, except how to dynamically invoke confirmation rich faces modalPanel on exception?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Cheer.
