Android does not provide any Exchange support out of the box. However I've seen a couple of programs in the Market that say they provide Exchange/Outlook synching. I don't know how good they are. Try this search: http://www.cyrket.com/search?q=outlook
Agreed, but Outlook Web Access works in a pinch and for some reason is easier to read (bigger fonts) on Android than on the iPhone. Another option would be to have your Exchange administrator enable POP/IMAP access and then use the regular Mail program (not GMail).
I have real Exchange/Outlook support on my iPhone, which is nice, but the administrator set it up so that it requires me to punch in a security access code every hour (if idle) to use the phone at all, which is NOT nice.
Unfortunately IMAP and POP aren't options, as I can only cram so much on to port 443 in an Exchange deployment (I happen to be the admin). I don't suppose Google's going to hop on the EAS licensing hand grenade, but a good deal of carriers already bundle some form of Exchange sync from third parties so maybe it's just a matter of time before it's just provided for you free of (additional) charge.
