Hi, Following are the details of connection pool settings we have and very frequestly the application log shows ConnectionTimeoutException(com.ibm.websphere.ce.cm.ConnectionWaitTimeoutException). Asper the code analysis connections are closed in finally block in all the places.
Existing Setup (Please sugguest if its not an optimal setting)
Connection Timeout - 10 Secs
Max. Connection - 20
MIN. Connections - 0
Reap Time - 70
Unused Timeout - 160
Aged Timeout - 0
Purge Policy - Entire pool.
Also The number of users are low(Say 30-60) during peek time and
If I reduce the Unused time out to 30 and Aged timeout as 600(Should be greater than reap time as per IBMs manual) will it reduce the chance of connection timeout exception. If not please provide your suggestions.
