Hi All,

Can you please tell me the difference between Code Profiling and Code Optimization .

I googled but all in vain , only found out this point . "Code Profiling should be done to identify bottlenecks in a program"?

Can anybody add some light on to this.

Thanks in advance.

Code profiling is, well, profiling code. Profiling is recording behaviour and observer characteristics of something.

Optimising code is making it perform better in light of what you found out after profiling it.
