I feel like I'm spiraling down the drain trying to create log4j.properties files for my application and for Tomcat 5.5. Nothing I have tried stops the megabytes of logging from Tomcat ending up in my applications log file. And I've yet to see anything in stdout.

Could someone please post their WORKING log4j properties files (one for Tomcat and one for an application) for me to use as a starting point.

Thanks,

You don't know me, but I've been looking all over the world for. Thanks to the help from this tiny ad:
