Hi

I have read in one document that Hibernate Connection Pooling is very bad.
Is it so, Cant we use it for the Production ? If so, How to get a best connection pooling in Hibernate Entity manager ?

I have Weblogic10.3, Spring and Hibernate entity manager

thanks in advance

Hibernate doesn't supply connection pooling, so whatever document you read is wrong.

Hibernate does ship with C3P0 as a connection pool implementation to use if the DataSource you pick doesn't supply one (or you use the DriverManager instead). If you are using Weblogic I can't think of any good reason not to use the Weblogic connection pool.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. Can you share me any weblink to show to integrate Weblogic connection pooling with Hibernate entity manager.

No integration is required in Hibernate. Just define a data source in weblogic as per the documentation and there you go.
