Hi i am developing a application for capturing Ethernet packets for http request. for that i am using libpcap, jpcap. libpcap is native code for mac os with capture network packets and jpcap is java api and which provides libjpcap.jnilib to communicate with libpab. And from that libpcap we'll get the captured network packets to our java application.

In this case if i used java version of 6 in mac it has 64 bit. but libjpcap.jnilib not supported in 64 bit architecture. Here my question is

1. Can we convert 32 bit version of jnilib to 64 bit, if so how..?
2. Is there any other alternate solution to capture Ethernet packet from java application. if so please provide me the related information.

i am waiting for the reply if anyone provide..
