Is that the group that plays songs with their natural gas pipes?

Nope, you must have gotten them confused with someone else.

Are you sure they don't have to eat a lot of beans before they go onto the stage?

It doesn't matter how you ask it, or how many times you ask it - I have already answered

Eric, why don't you like their music?
I think the combination of rock with traditional indian instruments makes for great listening. The tunes for many of the songs that I have listened to are very good - and I don't think I have come across very many non-Indian bands that get their pronunciation of Sanskrit chants so well..

Apparently they are working on a new album to be released soon, but the keyboardist - Jay, has left the group.

A band I used to play in back in the mid 90's did a couple of Kula Shaker covers... We played around the Hampshire/Dorset area between Farnborough, Basingstoke, Andover and Salisbury - so figured their song "303" was a good one for us as we seemed to spend our life driving up and down the A303 (the road upon which the song was based)..

Didnt realise they were still a going concern... I thought they were a one-album wonder.... (Good to hear otherwise! )

Crikey, that takes me back!

I thought they were a one hit wonder too... I bought their first album back in 1996... did they release more albums after that?

A friend of mine once passed out while watching them perform in a Scottish field - some time round 1996. I've always been suspicious of their music since...

I have listened to K which came in 1996. I have also listened to Peasants, Pigs and Astronauts which came out in 1999. They are due to release Revenge of the King very soon. I hope it is good.
