SCJP 5 or SCJP 6

I am not sure which exam I shall take- SCJP 5 or SCJP 6. Which one will add more value to resume.

Go for latest one SCJP6, When they found on you resume that you SCJP 6 and rest are with old version 5, its add impression. And this FAQ helps with your most of the doubt about SCJP

Thanks Sagar. But at the same time I am apprehensive that I will have to go through many additional stuff. Considering I am almost set to take test for SCJP 5. What would you suggest in this case buddy.

Not really, there is an addition of new stuff, but that won't take more than 10 days to master, also the number of question which covers this new addition for SCJP 6 will be, hardly, 4-5 question, rest will be same as SCJP5. So don't worry.

Have you checked out the FAQs, it list out the difference between SCJP 5 and 6.

I would also suggest 6.0, it's just a little more info then 5.0 and will be "valuable" much longer. Also, this question has been asked 100's of times on here, just read through some of the other topics with this same title.
