Hi!

I am currently working on a web application. I used a rich:extendedDataTable but have few problems with it. Maybe you can help me:

(1) No matter how I define the width of my columns, the filter text box has always the same size. Resizing doesn't help.

I looked at the sample on the RichFaces Demo site, where that box does resize as it should. This is how my version looks:

(2) Is there any way to prevent a single column from being resizable

(3) Is there a way to prevent a singnle column from being hidden using the context menu of the extendedDataTable?

This is how my definition of the table looks:

Thanks in advance!

Hi!

in the head tag, add the following:

<style>
input{
width:100%;
}
</style>

then the input filter according to the column width you give.
I had the same problem and solve it well

Saludos!
