Book Seven of what? Are you serious?! The publication date of Harry Potter, book 7 was announced today as July 21, 2007. I thought they were going for 7/07/07, and I'm not sure what the extra two weeks buys them, but there it is.

Yes, I know it's a book for children, and that it's not nearly the greatest piece of literature that will be put out this year. However, I don't care! I want to know who lives and who dies. What are Snape's real loyalties? What's the deal with Harry's aunt ... witch or not? What really happened to Sirius when he fell through that curtain? What about the life debt Peter Pettigrew owes Harry? Has that messed up Voldemort's reincarnation in some way? How is the final battle going to go down?

Well, I'm excited.

I too am very interested to know how it all turns out. Though I'd find it awfully funny and almost fitting if it ended in a manner like Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Alas, my brain works in very very strange ways.

I'm still waiting for book 5, so I can find out what's happening with Tyrion and Dani.

Bah. A real fantasy epic would get picked up as an ongoing series on HBO.

I think when book 7 comes out Im going to disconnect from the internet until Ive finished it. I remember I was browsing a news forum site and some a$$hat blurted out the big-plot-twist-at-the-end for the fun of it.

You showed up just in time for the waffles! And this tiny ad:
