Godaddy.com aargh!!

Dear Ranchers,

Anyone having account with godaddy.com, It is a nightmare, i m telling you when you login to their website. It is like a mental institution and the customer support wait time is >10 mins.. i have never seen anything designed so wicked!! because they have your credit info and any mouse click you accidentaly would result in charges on your account because you may have bought one of thier packages.

Can they make life any more complex....? they must design the next space shuttle perhaps!

Their terms of service state that "Go Daddy reserves the right to terminate Your access to the Services at any time, without notice, for any reason whatsoever."

Given that, I wonder why people choose to do business with them at all.

I think GoDaddy is both a registrar and a hosting provider. For both functions, there are any number of competing businesses. As a registrar, Register.com comes to mind, and for a list of Java hosting companies, check the Servlets FAQ.

I only use GoDaddy for registering domain names and have NEVER had a single problem with them at all. Been using them for at least 6 years.
