About the magic draw 16.5

I try to use magic draw or net bean 6.5 to do the SCEA project, but I can not find there is component diagram defined, any idea about these tools? I did not configure it correctly? or something else wrong?

I used Star UML, but I do recall that for one of the diagrams, there really wasn't a proper diagramming tool.

I believe that for the component diagram, I just used a regular graphics program and drew boxes and lines, and added text.

I don't know if it's an urban legend or not, but I heard that the graphics in first edition of the UML Distilled Book were done by the author using Microsoft Paint?

MagicDraw supports Component Diagram for sure, try to look at Help. Maybe you need to change Perspective.
