Hi Friends..

i have a question..
i use Swing application + JDBC + MySQL v5.0.81..

is it possible to put Full Text Search for my application?..
if its possible, what is the best tool that i have to use?
How about Sphinx?..
or is there any Full Text Search tool which could be ran with jdbc together?..

Thanks in advance

That depends on what, exactly, you mean by "full text search". SQL can find any text within varchar fields using the "... like '%searchstring%' ... " syntax.

So you have text search now? How does it work, and why do you want to change it? Just for performance reasons?

How can we compare two things if we only know one of them?
