Hi All,

Today I got through the SCBCD with 98%. I'm really happy about my achievement and put real hard effort with in a short period to achieve that.

I read EJB 3.0 in Action thrice.Chapter 1 to 11 is enough to get the understandability as a beginner. Then I moved to MZ's short notes.I would say that materials were really really smart and includes all the requirements for the exam.

Finally, SCBCD exam was very easier than my previous exams.Lots of questions were pretty straight forward and not scenario oriented as in SCWCD.By the way, I didn't get any questions related to XML things and no drag and drop questions for me.

Cheers!!!

Hi,

Congrats with your great score...

Can you please let me know if we need to memorize EJB 2.1 rules from EJB 3.0 specifications? For example, specification for Transaction attributes for EJB 2.1 session / entity home and component interfaces?

Thanks...

Hi Srichakra,

Thanks very much...

When I was starting EJB 3.0 I didn't had any experience with EJB 2.1.For the exam preaparation I didn't look at the transaction attributes for EJB 2.1 session and had a very little bit understandabilty about other interfaces in EJB 2.1.What I did was I deeply studied on the all EJB 3.0 and thought that I could be able to score more than 59% with the EJB 3.0.So, I was very very lucky that I didn't get questions related to EJB 2.1 and XML related things in the real exam.By the way I got one question related to interfaces in EJB 2.1 and could able to manage the correct answer with my little little knowledege about EJB 2.1.

Congratulations! that's a good score and you seem to have done it in just about a month after your SCWCD. That's a great achievement.

Hi Samrat,

Thanks a lot

I studied for SCWCD with lots of breaks and almost one year.Within that period I also touched EJB as well. But the EJB 3 in Action rocks my preparation for SCBCD....
