Most of the time, club soda and lime, because the little ones keep me so tired, alcohol usually just knocks me out. But if I'm feeling up to it, microbrew India Pale Ale is generally my first choice; Dogfish Head is a current favorite. At a fancy schmancy restaurant, an old Cabernet, sometimes a Shiraz. And at a cocktail lounge, a dry Gibson (vodka martini) -- the real thing, no crazy chocolate or
fruit or such nonsense.
I just read back over the above and chuckled -- I
really dislike sweet beverages, it seems.
