Hello All,
I am a newbie to hibernate. In hibernate configuration file is it necessary to mention the current session context class




If i don't mention the current_session_context_class will hibernate take any default value.
please clarify.

I believe the value defaults to thread. From this link, I would also assume that it is an optional setting:

Optional Properties for the Hibernate Configuration File hibernate.cfg.xml
