I have an application (which I have taken over the maintenance of) that is used to manage some Websphere clusters. Its basically a web app (written in java) that then calls Jython script (via a putty script). To do various tasks. Now this seems a bit cumbersome, should this be written using JMX or does it seem logical the way it is? Also what would the disadvantages be of using JMX Vs the current system ?
