How can I complain Sun?

Hi Guys,

It has been 10 weeks since I took the scjd exam, but I havn't got the result yet. I called prometric, prometric asked me to wait for another 6 weeks. I emailed who2contact, they even didn't reply my emails. I am so frustrated. I paid the money for it, but I didn't get the service I should get. Does anyone know how I can complain Sun and get the money back?

Hi Mura,

Have you read this thread? Do you see the Pending-line in the CertDatabase, because I think the 6 weeks wait will start after that line is shown. I guess it is a proof that sun received your essay exam (from prometric).

I would spam the who2contact email address (for getting result) and I would complain to the sun educational services where you bought your voucher about the lack of service you experienced for the money you paid (in my country it is be_ses AT sun DOT com).

I got an email from sun, they said they will provide me an exam voucher for free as compensation for the inconvenience and extended delay.

If it appears to be true, I'm curious to see what they will do: grade your assignment without the essay exam or have you retake the exam (for free). I don't think having to retake the essay exam is a big issue, because it's really a no-brainer if you developed the assignment yourself. But then i hope for you that the grading process has highest priority and is done in a few days, because the continuous waiting should be very frustrating by now.

Today i got my certification kit, but it didn't have the pin, so i had to complain too. Hopefully they give me also a free exam voucher to compensate this discomfort

You are not the only one who is waiting for a while now. Took my essay exam on May 5th and still no results. Sent two email so far but no reply yet.

That's very weird: I sent an email July 10th (about certification kit) and received an answer today.

Did you check this thread I mentioned above. Certainly check the point about the CertDatabase.

Hi guys.

If you remember I had the same problem. And I still have it

The status has changed from "Pending" to "Taken" but there's still no result available. So, the awaiting period has extended up to 12 weeks. Who2contact apologized for this, told me that my essay and the application hadn't been matched yet, and they were negotiating with prometric about the issue. Now I'm curious about what to do. I'll probably prepare for the Oracle SQL Expert Even if they offer a free voucher - it won't be very pleasant for me to travel 1500km to the nearest prometric center. Therefore I must have a special reason for such trip.

I uploaded the application on the 21st of April, wrote essay exam on the 27th of April, event date in certdatabase is May 27, 2009.
