You want the Quebecois pronunciation, or one of the myriad Anglicized versions?

Anglicized O.o, naturally. You could tell me the others for reference. Sadly, for you, you won't be able to hear my attempt at pronunciation so Anglicized <3. Is that where you are from b.t.w.?

That's a bit too hard and Anglicized for my tastes so I've changed the pronounciation to more closely match the French Canadian pronunciation: bih-bo, with the emphasis on the second syllable and with a subtle softening of the hard o.

That's nothing like how it's pronounced in my head.

When I was growing up in New England, we pronounced it "bee bo"

Too funny!

I especially liked:

a perfect teaching tool for parents and educators.

Think I could get a link to my books on that page?

But I don't know about:

Not recommended for children under 3 without parent supervision.

I thought I was pretty good with babies!

That gave you the option of ignoring commands, because it was clearly someone else they were addressing, right?

The only reason I knew it was me that was being addressed was that I knew there was only one other guy there with a last name starting with B, and his name was Bell*.

* Someday I'll relate an interesting story regarding Private Bell, myself, camouflage lessons, and a grove of poison oak.

Although you do not look like a hobbit, did anybody call you Bilbo at school ?

You want the Quebecois pronunciation, or one of the myriad Anglicized versions?

The Klingon one.

Yeah, needless to say the name was rife for abuse. I think the one that I hated most was "beanpole".

The Klingon one.

Buk-cha!

It's probably pretty easy to predict the punch line given the setup.
