Hi all. I'm hoping someone knowledgeable about the poi HSSF API could help me.

I need to create a spreadsheet with a different default background color (in this case grey, normally excel files start with the default "no color" I believe). To do this in excel you simply go to 'Format > Style > Modify > Pattern' and then whatever color you want and then all cell backgrounds become that color.

I've looked through POIHSSF api and couldn't find any way to reference all cells, or a method in HSSFSheet that would let me change the "default" background color. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance.
