Hi !

I have completed SCJP and SCWCD few months back. Which certification is best to take up next ? My choices are SCBCD or SCDJWS. I am completely a newbie to both EJBs and WebServices. So I am not sure which one to take up next. Please provide your valuable suggestions !

Hi!
I would recommend SCBCD first, since having some knowledge about EJBs will help you when studying for the SCDJWS.
Best wishes!

Hi,
Both certificate have different market value. If you want to do both in future, first go for SCBCD, and then you can think for SCDJWS.
Cheers,

Hi. I believe that these two technologies are complementary, from EJB --> Web Service. Learning EJB you'll master at most, abilities of J2EE container, which cannot be worked around in serious application, into what you will deploy your we service (for instance). On the other hand, engaging an EJB as a web service, means obtaining more power of managing the same, but ordinary
POJO (lifecycle control, security issue, transaction....). So even if you choose SCDJWS you'll HAVE to master MOST of the issue, concerning SCBCD
I hope I was helpful
