Hi,
I wonder if somebody could answer this question for me. Over a week ago I sat and failed the SCJP 6 exam. I did mark a lot of questions for review during my initial pass through the exam but did actually answer all of them. Unfortunately, I did not unmark these questions. Does anybody know if these questions would have been included in calculating my score?
Thanks,
Clare

The answers will be evaluated whether you unmark or not. There was however a bug in calculating the scores recently. Search this forum for that. How much did you score ?

Will do thanks. Got 53% which is low considering I was getting 70 - 80% on Whizlabs and around the same on the mock exam that came with K&B book.

Did you write the new exam which has 60 questions or the older one with 72? Was it really tough? tougher than the mocks?

It was the sixty questions exam in three hours - possibly the quickest three hours of my life! Think that threw me as I was expecting 72 questions. I would say that it was probably as hard as the mock exams. Will start my revision again ready to re-take.

So is that a good practice to uncheck the marked questions?

Not really. You could end up wasting time. Then again it can be argued that if you do not unmark them, how do you know which questions that you marked are already visited ? It depends on your strategy. Instead of marking the questions I wrote down the ones that I must review on the plastic sheet that was provided to me. How you want to review the questions will certainly differ
