Annotated Entity Bean Inheritance

Here's the setup.

I have two classes in the same package which is being scanned for annotations.

I am getting the following exception when I attempt to use



Here is what my classes look like.



Is this the proper way to inherit annotated classes?

You cannot use a native, auto-generated id generator if you want to use TABLE_PER_CLASS inheritance. Either change the inheritance or the pk generator.

I have resolved this by changing GenerationType.AUTO to GenerationType.TABLE
