Using Ajax Call to Fill in an s:iterator

Here's my issue. I have a form with a table of data in it. I want to make an ajax call to add the item based on some fields, then "refresh" the data table (because the newly added item should show up there. And I JUST want to refresh the data table - there are other fields on this form that cannot be refreshed. How should the javascript go? Difficulty: This is struts 2 and the list is initially populated using an s:iterator with a list from the form.

I found an answer. I didn't need my ajax call to populate the list. I had it call another function that would call the method to get the list in the original "base" action.
