No its happens when hibernate tries to save my blob to database

When you increased the size of the heap available to the JVM did the problem go away?

I am running my application using jetty which gets started from maven , in production we will be deploying to weblogic unix environments.Please tell me for jetty plugin maven can I increase heap size ?

Yes, after all maven and the jetty plugin are ultimately just going to be starting a JVM. Doesn't the Maven documentation cover this?
