Hi,
I have two entities A and B. B is a child of A and uses JOINED inheritance strategy. Hbernate updates version of A too while fetching B in case thier versions are not same. I tried it making version diffrences 1, 2, 3, 4 .. but couldn't find a common pattern that hibernate adopts while dealing with these situations..

Does anyone knows how hibernate handles it?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Manish

Manish,
We have a forum specifically for object/relational frameworks like Hibernate. I'll move this for you. The original will link to it.
