This post is to discuss Web 2.0.

Web 2.0

Although the article did say:

Although the term suggests a new version of the World Wide Web, it does not refer to an update to any technical specifications, but rather to cumulative changes in the ways software developers and end-users use the Web.

Can we say that an application is using (or what will be right word? compliant with?) Web 2.0 if it:

1. Uses Ajax to update the pages.
2. Uses Flash for graphics which can't be developed in HTML.
3. Publishes RSS feeds.
3. Uses Web Service to make response readable by machine.

Your thoughts?

I think it's a rather silly, over-used, and already out-moded term that has no real definition.

You can say it is whatever it is and there is no real answer. I have heard some people say they added one Ajax call on their page so they can be considered as a web 2.0 site

Personally I do not care about Web 2.0, my focus is building a site that is accessible to anyone. [I personal site is not a good example! lol]
