URGENT : How to get serail number while using logic:iterate?

I am displaying some rows in an html table using logic iterate . But how do I display the serial number ?
Also I have a checkbox per row whose value should be an Id of one of the diplayed column.
Please help me out.

What do you mean by serial number? Do you mean the index number? And is this the value that the checkbox should be?
If you are talking about the index number, use the indexId attribute of the logic:iterate tag to indicate the name of a bean that will be created to hold the index number. For example, the following code will display the index for each item in the collection you are iterating over (starting with zero of course):
